Warranty & Service Policy
Our Mustart SAE J1772 Level 2 EVSE Portable Electric Vehicle Charger is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase. (Used item comes with 12-month warranty.)
If the warrantied products are defective in workmanship and/or materials, you can simply give us a call or email us and send the defective product back.
The warranty will be void if:
- There are additions made or alteration to the product.
- Abuse of the product, abnormal operation or environmental conditions, including exposure to acid, chemical fumes, metallic dust or extreme temperatures, accident, abuse, damage, misuse, vandalism, unauthorized alteration or repair,utility surges.
- Accidental damage or loss of the product. Misuse of the product.
- Normal expected wear.
- Commercial or rental use.
- Failed to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance: improper care.
NOTE: Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you chargers out of warranty.
Ruturn & Shipping Policy
If an item is new, unused, and in the original packaging, we are happy to accept a return up to 30 days from the original invoice date with no restocking fee. If the item has been installed, used, or no longer has the original packaging, we will assess a restocking fee. The restocking fee will be determined after Mustart's review.
You need to pay for any shipping costs to return the item to the Mustart warehouse. Once received, a refund will be issued in the amount of the purchase.
We recommends you keep your original packaging to ensure a safe return to our facility. We strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged in transit. We also recommend you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. Remember to keep your tracking number as well, just in case.
Any shipment which arrives damaged will be immediately refused or will be held at the warehouse until the customer pays for return shipping or files an insurance claim. The customer will be responsible for return shipping and handling and any claims that may arise. No exceptions.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
